music: negai - Arashi
So I understand that Sakurai Sho is in a new drama called Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de. Does that mean we should be expecting a new single from Arashi!?!?!?! I predict it'll be something like monster or lotus. Unless it's a comedic show, haha.
Anyway, I hope this happens! ><

Arashi’s Aiba Masaki hospitalized for collapsed lung
Posted on June 29, 2011 by tokyograph
Management agency Johnny's Jimusho has announced that Arashi member Aiba Masaki (28) is currently in the hospital due to spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung). On the night of June 28, Aiba complained of chest pain after finishing a recording for the television show “Arashi ni Shiyagare.” He was taken to a hospital for examination, where the doctor diagnosed the pneumothorax and had Aiba immediately admitted.
Aiba was re-examined the next morning, and it was determined that he indeed had a collapsed left lung. He was advised to remain hospitalized for about a week.
As a result of Aiba’s hospitalization, he has canceled some scheduled interviews. He will also be absent from Arashi’s rehearsals on June 30 and July 1 for their upcoming tour that kicks off on July 24.
This is the second time that Aiba has suffered from pneumothorax. In March 2002, he had a collapsed right lung as a result of practicing the saxophone too hard for a television show project. He underwent surgery as part of his treatment at that time, but it appears that surgery will not be necessary this time.

location: San Francisco
mood:
happy
music: Nigai Namida - Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra
Freakin love MIDOMI.COM
I watched Gekidan Engimono Ishikawa-ken Gosan-shi a while ago and really liked the theme song.
But of course, no where online does it tell me the song title.
My friend told me about Shazam, but I don't have an iphone nor do they have it for PC.
I tried getting tonatic but it sucks balls, so I tried midomi.
Found it after three tries. But it found it!!!
For all who are curious. the song is called Nigai Namida by TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA.
I'm happy. :]

mood:
restless
music: Kitto Daijoubu - Arashi
Dear Lord, Buddha, Christ, whoever...
Please please PLEASE. I pray to all of the above that my family is safe and the lives of Arashi. I hope the damages are not too bad and Aiba-kun's father's Chinese restaurant isn't part of the burning flames. As a birthday wish, I wish all is well and everyone is safe and the earthquake/tsunami mess is over.
Thank you.

Arashi Day 68
Feb. 22nd, 2011 | 11:22 pm
location: San Francisco
mood:
chipper
music: Sketch - Arashi
This year, I choose Sakurai Sho to be my valentine. ^^ <3
I'm a little late, but oh well. At least I posted. hehe.
I also saw GANTZ in JAPANESE!!! WOOOO!!
Thank goodness for New People. :D
It was great. I thought I would be a little bored, but I was shocked, happy, sad, excited, scared at all the right places for the second time. hahaha.
I'm glad I saw it again. The Japanese version was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy better, I don't know why they even thought of dubbing it... and then dubbing it.
So dumb...
Uhh and guess what. I found ANOTHER Arashi song I have not been listening to! It's called Sketch and I guess not a lot of people know about it? (Actually, it might only be me.) They only sold 1000 copies of it, so it's SUPER limited edition. I love it.
I also love their new single Lotus! I was the pv over and over, at least 8 million times a day. ^_^
I think they're going for the Monster look because it was such a hit last year. hahaha.
Did anyone notice how Aiba-kun is the only one with baggy pants? ;D
To make him stand out for his show? Who knows, haha.

mood:
happy
music: Mayonaka no Denwa - Capsule
I wish I could have posted earlier, but I never had the time too! ><
Sooo.. I WATCHED GANTZ!!!!

Aww man, it was soo good!!
They did a really good job, anyone will be able to follow. They explained what GANTZ is and anyone who is not familiar with the manga/anime will be able to understand. It actually took me a little while to get used to the bloody mess they showed in the beginning, but I guess it was necessary. Hahaha. I friggin' cannot wait until GANTZ 2. Said to be released in Spring? I'm not sure about that but it said so in http://www.tokyograph.com/news/id-5344
"The first film is tentatively slated for nation-wide release in early 2011 and the second will follow in the spring."
I think it was a well thought out casting. They got the fangirls from Ninomiya Kazunari, the regular drama watchers from Matsuyama Kenichi, and the otakus from GANTZ. It was great and might I add Nino looked extra good in the $5000 suit! ;D
GAHH, the only part that I DREADED was the TERRIBLE DUBBING!!! Why would they cover up Nino's beautiful voice?!?!?!?!?!?!???? I swear, if they dub part two, I'm going to throw an angry cat at the voice actor's face.. Ughh, he sounded like SUCH a dork! 100% otaku voice. x.x
I managed though. I was watching Nino's beautiful face and his mouth. I swear he said "majide" and "majikayo." haha, you can pretty much hear his voice if you're a true fan. hehe ;]
But I really wanted to hear him say, "ikuzo" at the end. I bet it was AHHHHHH!!!!! He's soo cute. <3
Anyway, back to more ranting, the stupid dubbing made some scenes looks A GAJILLION TIMES cornier and awkward. Like the scene with Nino asking her where she lived in stuff. Yeah, I get it, he was being like a creep, but they made it soo much worse. And the scene wear the classmate chick confessed her love to him, ughh, SHOOT ME! That was soo terrible! "I love you, you idiot! So don't kill yourself!" WTF!!!!! I'm sure it wasn't as cliché as they made it out. Ughh and that chick's voice! She couldn't even pronounce manga!!! Any who, they better f***ing just sub it next time. I'm sure that's how the world wants to see it anyway.
(After about two hours of photoshop...)

The before and after interview was great. Sooooo glad it wasn't dubbed! haha. Nino was being soo Arashi. hahaha. And poor MatsuKen's interpreter. haha, the whole theatre was cracking up.
I knew they were going to bring up the story about Nino's cake for Matsuken. :D He's soo cute.
Next time, I want to go to the premiere, I'm soo close, yet soo far. I live in NorCal which I'm proud of, but WHY WHY WHYYYY do they have to go down to LA for such premiere's?! Why not SF for a change?! Jeeeessssus!!

Arashi Day 65
Dec. 31st, 2010 | 10:50 am
location: San Francisco
mood:
tired
music: Boku no Furusato - Arashi
Just finished watching it.
I woke up at 6 AM to watch Arashi host this years Kohaku Uta Gassen 61!

SPOILER!! To be honest, I think the red team did better this year. But I'll only accept the white team as winners because Arashi's a part of it. ^^
This is the song list order:
1. Ayumi Hamasaki - Virgin Road
2. EXILE - I Wish For You
3. AKB48 - Kouhaku 2010 AKB48 Kamikyoku SP
4. NYC - Yoku Asobi Yoku Manabe 100% NYC
5. Angela Aki - Kagayaku Hito
6. AAA - Aitai Riyuu
7. Mitsuko Nakamura - Kawachi Otoko Bushi
8. flumpool - Kimi ni Todoke
9. Ayaka Hirahara - Voyagers
10. Yusuke - Hito
11. Natsuko Godai - Hitori Zake
12. Takashi Hosokawa - Naniwabushi da yo Jinsei wa

42. Kiyoshi Hikawa - Nijiiro no Bayon
43. DREAMS COME TRUE - Ikite Yuku no Desu feat. The Kouhaku Special Brass Band
44. SMAP - This is love '10 SP Medley
I liked Angela Aki, Ayaka Hirahara, Kana Nishino, L'Arc~en~Ciel, aiko, Perfume, Kana Uemura, Ikimono Gakari, Kiyoshi Hikawa, and of course ARASHI's performance.
I didn't like Ayumi Hamasaki, AKB48, Koda Kumi, and the special guest guy's performance. And to be honest I don't think SMAP's performance was all that memorable...
I also thought the little gorilla things were weird.. I mean they were cute and all, but I thought it was unnecessary.
I have already found "Boku no Furusato" - Arashi. I was afraid that, that was their performance, but the song list said Special Medley. I'm glad they sang Troublemaker and Monster. I wish they also included a song from the new album, but it's whatever. They should have done it like Music Station, with "Movin' On."
Anyway, Arashi did an alright job of hosting. I hope to see them host again next year!
Super tired, going to sleep now. zzzzzzzzz
